At the turn of March and April, Michał Milczarek Trio (MM3) is returning on tour in China. The Warsaw-based band will give concerts in 8 Chinese cities, among other in the southern province Guangzhou and central Chengdu. The tour will last from March 28th to April 15th as part of the Jazz Po Polsku project, promoting improvised Polish jazz music abroad.
The tour will be promoting the band’s latest full length release „Live in China”. The concert was recorded during the Oct-Loft Festival in October 2017, and was greatly received by the Chinese audience. Limited digital edition will be available for distribution during the tour.
„The 2017’s tour was a breakthrough for the band. Our last Chinese experience has had a big impact on the band’s current musical style and energy. We started to create much more brave improvisations, which lead us to yet undiscovered part of electronic, trance and ambient music. I can say the album is in some way a declaration of a new artistic path for the MM3” – says Michał Milczarek, the band‘s leader.
